ADC Company Overview 

American Diagnostic Corporation (ADC) was founded in 1984. In just over two decades, ADC has grown into one of the world's premier suppliers of diagnostic medical products, personal instruments, and accessories for the healthcare industry. ADC's corporate headquarters, located in Hauppauge, NY occupies a 44,000 square foot state-of-the-art office, quality control, manufacturing, and distribution facility. Sales offices in London, England, and Tokyo, Japan service our European and Pacific Rim distribution. Quality control and sourcing offices Taipei, Taiwan and Ningbo, China oversee ADC's Asian manufacturing facilities. ADC products are sold on 6 continents in over 30 countries and are in use by thousands of health care institutions and millions of health care professionals world wide.

ADC products are marketed under many brands - among them, ADC, MEDICUT, ADSCOPE, PROSCOPE, DIAGNOSTIX, PROSPHYG, ADTEMP, MULTIKUF, ADLITE, POCKET PAL, RESPONDER, ADCUFF, SYSTEM 5, and ADFLOW just to name a few. ADC also manufactures products under OEM (original equipment manufacturer), and private label contracts for over a dozen of the world's leading manufacturers and distributors in the acute care, alternate site, nursing, extended care, student, and EMS markets. In fact, ADC is the largest private label supplier of stethoscopes and blood pressure instruments in the United States. ADC also provides Cardiology equipment.

ADC partners with a select group of the worlds finest ISO 9000 subcontractors to produce nearly 2000 different proprietary components to international or even more demanding ADC standards. These components are then inspected, assembled, and packaged at our Hauppauge, NY facility into over 6500 different products in 8 distinct categories:

ADC Product Philosophy

Diagnostic products tend to fall into two categories. High priced premium quality, domestically manufactured products at one end of the spectrum, and low priced imports, often of questionable quality at the other end. ADC bridged that gap by creating the first true line of hybrid products that combine the best of both worlds. Components for ADC diagnostic products are manufactured by the world's leading ISO 9000 subcontractors. ADC then inspects, assembles, and packages the finished products in their Hauppauge, NY facility. ADC has positioned its products to be generally priced at 20% to 40% below the legendary domestic brands and only slightly higher than the low quality "imports".
